The author is very consistent. Even when he is sick, he still write at least 1 chapter for us each day. And the quality of the story did not drop during that time. It still entertaining and funny. Seriously one of the best book I have seen in this site

I am very impressed. The worldbuilding and the first chapter is the best. I was little bit confused at first, but man.... that was a good read. And it was fast-paced too. Immediately we are plunged into mystery and the world of monsters. Awesome!

Here is my review now that I have read the story at 20 chapters. I would say I like where this story goes. Kingdom building, army building, and in fact any building type story is just my jam! The characters are three dimensional unlike any other stories where the characters only served to the plot and feels like cardboard. I cringe when I recalled that

I like how this novel is written but I can't help but notice that the characters are disappointing. They seems like typical Chinese characters in other novels
