In their actions yes but their motivations are pretty different. Gin really only cares about Rangiku while Itachi did everything for both the leaf and his brother

I went into this fic expecting it to be a lot more lighthearted than it is. The setting of the world they are in is much darker than bofuri that does not match very well for me.

If the cheapest option to play this game costs more than a house there is no way this could catch on quickly or at all really.

These comments don’t seem to understand that the entire reason the other residents know he is depressed is because he does not smile.

I feel like the hatred for his ancestor is so forced. This would have all been solved if he just inherited some memories of him being truly evil

Having tried to read of few different lord novels this is easily my favorite. The side characters and servants actually have some personality even if they aren't focused on much. It has been a little slow in progression in the middle stages however it still keeps me entertained. The translation quality drops off a lot but is still understandable to me because I am used to it.
