The MC gets a Scyther and Ralts as the his next Pokemon in the Master of Tactics while that is not the case here at all. Only the beginning is the same, nothing else. These two are two different Fanfics. His 300 chapters doesn't concern this fanfic at all because it's not the same.

Legendary trainer and Legendary Pokemon are two very different things. Like, Red is a legendary trainer, doesn't mean he trains a team full of Legendary Pokemon. Idk about the way latet, as this is a long fanfic, but he certainly doesn't capture any Legendary Pokemon next 100 chapters or so, though he starts making a really strong team.

I don't think you get it, so let me explain again. This is not the one that's a copy, it's the other way around. You reading that first doesn't make this a copy of it.

This is a 1000+ chapters fanfic. It's most probably the other way around. There are 60 chapters updated, but you jump straight to the reviews after barely reading 10. Just because you read that first doesn't make this a copy.

Who said the league doesn't have enough trainers? Where was it ever mentioned? You're cooking up scenarios in your mind at this point. Besides, I'm just saying that there social hierarchies in every society or world and that is just the simple truth. Refusing to believe that doesn't make it not true.

Why don't you people never bother to read further before going to the reviews. This is not much similar at all. This is a 1000+ chapters fanfic, and to be honest, it might actually be the other way around. That is similar to this. I hope you'll actually read further and then give a fair review. There are 55 chapters currently updated, read and see for yourself if it's similar or not. Giving a review at 5 chaps is hardly fair.

Who said common people can't afford a single Pokemon or a common Rattata? They can get any Pokemon they want, it's just that are risks involved in it, and that is completely understandable. Besides, that was from the perspective of the MC who was at the bottom of the society at that time, along with the people who had similar financial situations. Don't we have homeless people here, along with people living in poverty? Do you think they can afford what is considered basic expenses for a middle class family? The reason it was expensive is because they didn't have proper income. If they had income, something that was expensive would have been something that was affordable. Besides, the reason it was hard for Mc was because he was undocumented, essentially like an illegal immigrant. I don't think I have to explain the importance and need for documents in a civilized society. The league isn't super evil or something. They just made it a bit harder for people to become trainers because if everyone is a trainer, who would do the other jobs that are equally essential for a society to function. Also, given the population, everyone owning a Pokemon is like everyone having explosives and firearms. Can you even imagine the instability and Chaos that would cause? The league just is like the Government everywhere in the world. Also, Mc's Pokemon is not trash. What are you even talking about? You think a Crobat is a trash Pokemon? And it's definitely not as dramatic or depressing as you made it sound. There are 55 chapters updated as of now, so your review after just a few early chaps is quite hasty. He currently has 3 Pokemon and none of them are trash by any means. I sincerely hope you'll give it a shot and give a fair review after reading further.
