I recommend you read the novel called "My Longevity Simulation", specifically on Scribble hub because it has better translation up to chapter 432. Sadly translated dropped after that. There are more than 1000 raw chapters iirc. Main character is called Li Fan and he gets transmigrated into a cultivation world. He's nowhere near top of the world, the world he gets reincarnated into is very mysterious, full of dangers. He has a System that lets him respawn to his set point. In case he faces danger, he can just come back in time to that point. BUT his System isn't omnipotent, there are beings that can straight up freeze time before he gets to activate the System, which makes this novel intense. I won't spoil much. Side characters aren't arrogant and actually have brain cells, there's no face slapping. Main character uses his wits, is evil when he needs to be, doesn't care about morality or stuff like that, sort of similar to "I am the Fated Villain" main character. I recommend you give it a shot and let me know your thoughts, that is if you haven't read this already lol

Are people running out of ideas on how to name their main character? At first names like Alex, Desmond in eastern cultivation novels, now Hye💀

Don't like the fact that this girls sucking up to mc when he's just a baby. The girl sees that mc will become someone powerful in the future and takes advantage of that by calling him lover while he's only a newborn. If she didn't see his future visions, she wouldn't do all of this.

I feel like this virtual world ppl think of as a game - is an actual world. Perhaps someone manipulates both worlds makes it appear as a game for players, and makes it appear as a mortal world for cultivators, I'm not sure though, I'm at the chapter 37 atm.
