his character development most of the time just happens for the sake of it. like he doesn't even try to get revenge for becoming a slave, and his character was he despised being a slave a d hated his fate. He wasn't emotionless in the beginning but he was cunning. that is what we wanted but he got pussified after he had a fallout with them. I see no character development.

I agree. it is even worse when not only forgiving the blind girl but feeling guilty for hurting her feeling after she literally enslaved him. It is like the author changed.
