In fact it made him violently angry at himself for letting down his guard in this forest despite not knowing what was here. After spending a few minutes regenerating from the heavy bruising he got from the explosion Alex could only appreciate the rare ranked trait he had gotten from the beetle. Even if his own version was way weaker than the beetles at level one so long as he increased that he could become a severe nuisance for other monsters. This was the terrifying thing about slashing attacks , even when they are shallow the loss of blood is a big concern.
