Wow, that's a lot of questions, but I'll try to answer them as best I'm able. 1. Macross is a cool series, but a transforming ship would not only take too much time in the universe, it would be strictly worse at its job as a warship for no gain. The biggest problem is it doesn't really work with the somewhat grounded Sci-Fi I'm going for with this story. 2. I've never seen Outlaw Star, I will have to watch it as you have peaked my interest. 3. I actually haven't seen Trigun either, but there is potential for Vash's pistol to make an appearance. 4. I didn't think about that, but fighting Megatron with a Gundam does sound like an interesting idea. 5. Space is only going to play a minor role at best in the Mobuseka world, but when the MC changes worlds space will become very prominent. 6. MC will go to Mass Effect world later on. 7. Escaflowne's designs are cool, but don't really fit the story like the SDF-1 Macross
