I do love a good slow burn, but this is a bit extreme 😑 I hope it picks up

I mean... I'm getting tired of this FL... I get that she had a nightmare that could probably be a sort of rebirth but if it was a rebirth she wouldn't be doubtful of it's certainty unlike when she doubts whether the nightmare was true. Then she doesn't say exactly what he did so wrong to her that she doesn't want to have any contact with him, she feels he's responsible for her baby's death, but she doesn't say how he is responsible, she only hints to him abandoning them, how did he abandon them? was it for war? bc if that's so then it's understandable he is a soldier, was it his mother's manipulation? then I'd guess I'd like her more. All in all, right now she's has been very unfair with him, insulting him at every turn and even selling him off to someone else while in this life at this moment he has done her no wrong, she is the one in the wrong and all because of a dream? because at this moment she thinks it's a dream. Nevertheless I find her inner monologs quite tiring and they are starting to feel annoying

I really don't like this Charles, if I were to choose the ML I'd choose xyle, I love the development of that character and I think the synergy with the FL is fantastic, now for Ashiel... hmm IDK I feel he should be more like a second ML, the one that helps the FL behind the scenes but doesn't get her at the end
