This is the type of story where a complete nobody enters the shinobi world with little knowledge as he wasn’t a fan of Naruto and has only speed read the manga. If you like character development combined with progression fantasy where the mc crawls from the weakest most pathetic guy to one of the best of his generation. The mc has lived a comfy life like us so don’t expect him to be strong and cold from the get go. He becomes better and he doesn’t treat these people as 2D characters from a manga. He treats them as real people and forms good relationships with them. This is not a novel where the sub cast exist for the mc to shine. Every character have their own agendas and policies

Wow, now this is a review of a typical op mc power fantasy lover. Buddy, this fanfic focuses on the main “character” and the “characters” than action and fights. There is good action and fight later in the story but the focus on character development and brutal reality. There is difference between ranks but you have exaggerated them like there is a lot of difference in strength between genin and chunin and also chunin and jonin. No guys can get promoted just because they stayed in the job for long, they need to be strong enough to be worthy. It’s called powerscaling done right. The mc is a badass and is the second best of his generation after lord Itachi himself. I suggest to read more and if it still doesn’t matches your taste then this is not your cup of tea
