Being made by a god doesn't bring any benefits besides not being under the laws of the world. I explained in the chapter about Divinity and Providence and I will continue to expand in later chapters. God made the MC a vampire by the standards of the Vampire Dairies Universe, of course he could make the MC's vampire side really strong but what's the point. The MC is of course still stronger then the Originals but if it was just same age, only vampire fight. The MC would loss.

In the next chapter I do speak on this but yeah you are correct. The MC isn't an Original Vampire even though he has the strength's that an original possesses like he can't be Decapitated nor will he die if his heart is ripped out. I will explain later but being an Original comes will certain perks that the MC doesn't possess that's why it's better for the con to participate in the spell.

Talents are things like future sight and telekinesis(It comes from Twilight). Every talent is good but some are more useful than others like the MC would prefer future sight over telekinesis because he can already move things with magic
