This development ruined the whole chapter even though I don't like these elves. I almost deleted the novel from my library, even when I've been greatly enjoying the book. I really hope it was a one-time thing cause if this continues, I will have to skip this arc.

Everything is just perfect. The character designs are great with every person having their own distinct characters. No fawning over the mc for every little thing he does. Descriptions are short and informative. The world building is thoroughly planned out. There is little filler content enough to keep you entertained and is not unnecessarily prolonged to increase word count. The grammar is great (i got bad grammar, so this might not be accurate). All in all, this is the best novel I have read this year so far (I have read some other great books this year, too).
