The progression of this novel was so unexpected. I loved the way that the author portrayed the beautiful life and devastating tragedies of these special people.

The concept is one that I would be interested in. However, the writing quality needs a little work. I see the common mistake of not identifying switching POVs and a little confusion in the first person vs third person as well.
