All this and more :) Expect more on the Vale and economics when we move into the 2nd arc, we're getting close to the end of Vengeance. Some of what's happening here is pulling content forward from arc 2 (Empire), so it's a little early but it made too much sense to handle it now vs ignoring it until [spoiler].... I had originally planned for the end of Vengeance to be the kickoff of Empire, but I think this is better.

In fairness, he didn't have this money with him when he bought the necklace. That horrible world where you have to travel with hard currency. Bors could have bailed him out but... making Owain manage with what he had was part of the lesson. Did he learn the lesson?
