Haku's mother was from the Yuki clan. He wasn't a bastard, the Yuki clan split up during the bloodline purges and his mother was a survivor who hid in a small town, married, and had Haku there. Very different.

He is grinding. Unlike most fanfics, constant training can be detrimental because this is a realistic story. He needs money, he needs mission points, he needs to manage his time well, and so on. No cheats.

Year late, but Takuma doesn’t have the time to do that. If you’ve ever tried writing a full book and getting it published all without shadow clones or brain cheats you’d know it’s a bad use of Takuma’s very limited time.
