youre losing consistency in this interaction. misty and Brock were with ash when they first saw her there. she knows Casey met with ash, she shouldn't be surprised. I think you need to reread your last 3 chapters and edit.

the dialogue and constant talking to himself is absolutely destroying what little entertainment value this ff still had... learn how to use exposition paragraphs rather than just make your mc a jabbering monkey who can't keep his thoughts to himself.
