I began reading this novel out of curiosity and started enjoying it quite a bit although at least to the point I've read I feel there are some problems that should have been addressed early into the making of the novel. I'd say that the worst thing about this novel arent its characters but its world-building and the pacing of the story itself as it feels too rushed at some points and the power levels or how power is measured has not made sense to me at all since the beginning. I'm not against OP protagonists at all but in this particular case, it just feels random and poorly written.
Lulu's death doesn't make sense, it's one of the laziest deaths I've read and it feels like the author didn't We didn't even get to know how strong the scorpion was and if it was strong enough to one-shot lulu under all that gravity and the MC couldn't use his stealth technique as it would consume too much KI then why did the scorpion didn't chase after he took the herb? Maybe I misread something but it feels like a lot of info was kept from the reader or that the author didn't pay attention and just looked for a lazy and edgy way to kill Lulu.
Noice, it seems like the grammar improved although the pacing of the story is a bit weird
What's the knife made of? the edge would have been dented just after killing a couple of zombies... but oh well this I can't complain when this is a fantasy novel at the end.
This novel is almost unreadable geez... even google translates better than this
I mean it's nothing new since he's been doing this a ton with his status
It's a slow novel and the author has explained everything so far withing the novel. Why he starts changing his personality, why he decides to "marry" the girl, why he's called a slave because of his haircut and more, everything so far has been explained also the system isn't the main thing in the novel as is common in many other novels. And also the reason he doesn't free himself should be pretty obvious he's in the best place he could be to freely dual cultivate and more. It's just a slow novel that takes its time explaining a low of these things and most of them make perfect sense after being explained wich is funny because this novel doesn't really try to be serious but still tries to be as consistent as possible. I'd recommend you to read until the first fight between the MC and the first protagonist to get a hang of it because as I've already said many times it's slow. I usually tend to be a hater and overly critic with all kind of media to the point I can't enjoy most of it nowadays and this novels felt a bit refreshing TBH.
He is shameless he does it over and over again just to meet the word quota, I’d recommend you to read hermes system or vampire system since In my opion are way better than this, I dont dislike this novel but it just progresses too slow, overextends its descriptions and uses a lot of filler. shame though since this novel had potential.
I've read until chapter 48 so far, and I've got to say it's got its ups and downs and the only real problem I've found while reading this novel are the characters in general. The MC sometimes is smart and somewhat relatable but most of the times it feels like a lot of his decisions make no sense whatsoever. I'll keep reading because I feel it has potential and I'll write another review after I've read another 50 chapters or so.
