You have to keep in mind that pretty much nobody that fought him was able to challenge him before he left his world so it would be normal for a person to start becoming careless without even realizing it.

I wonder if the reason why he hasn’t tried making something like a demigod is because it would weaken him temporarily unlike what the origin gods did

I don’t know if it’s that they don’t know how to, I just think that using their demigod children is just better overall.

If possible he could try to use his divine power to preform extremely obvious blessings to empower Finns faction while also trying to purge the civilization faction over time. One of the best ways I can think of to destroy the civilization faction would be to create a demigod that can actually communicate what he desires to his followers so he can oust murmurs influence. The bottom line is that he needs to figure out a way to communicate with his followers like the origin gods do, it will probably be difficult to do so but it should be possible in theory
