Jealous people had torn up his tents, his clothes, his packs. He'd had to delay several missions or go in practically naked because of the antics some Guides and Espers had gotten up to. Either because of jealousy, or greed. Kellen was used to it.

"Gwen, I've practically already forgotten what you said to me." Kellen told her honestly. It had all been washed away once he had come to realise why he had reacted the way he had, and honestly? He felt guilty for reacting the way that he had to the Captain at the time. Gwen had called him out, as she should have, but she could have done it in a better way. That's how Kellen saw it.

No I feel the same way. I always found the dynamic of the ”vir gin versus player” to be a little off-putting, for the same reason that you said. Especially when it’s constantly referenced during almost every one of their moments of intlmacy. It just kinda ruins the encounter. Even if Kellen had at least ONE other relationship experience to go off of, no matter how short or small, it would’ve made the whole thing a little less weird/awkward.
