Bubbly is still rank 1. So, the next will be rank 2. The Lion is rank 1 and if Bubbly reaches rank 2, he will have a higher chance to defeat the lion. Rank is more like level.

I will take this into consideration. I actually plan for Bubbly to remain pure water type but I think I can do this when the story is a bit further.

Yes. When the beast advance in stage (Colorless, White etc), the tamer will get 1% of their beast's stat. The percentage may change when we get to that point. I will need to see how Bubbly's stat amount to later. I cannot put the percentage higher because they will have a lot of beasts later and if the player gets too many stat points, they may end up stronger than the beast which I don't want to happen.

Love the story. The concept of technology and cultivation together sounds fun. Just an idea but I hope the mc will be able to combine these two things into one. Like a machine that can help with cultivation. Or a machine that helps with pill making (which obviously will put alchemist in that world to shame because mc can mass-produce the pills) I am not sure if you will go this direction but I have high expectation for this because I see a lot of potential :D

I think you need to put a full stop or comma in this sentence. It is confusing :) 'Ahh, so that's how. How... I am not good at grammar myself but the sentence sounds better with a stop or comma.
