Dude... The only real Dark Lord is and always will be Grindelwald ... Why? Because he is the only Dark Lord that the world fears... Voldemort ? He only is feared in Britain... Grindelwald is feared in he whole world...
Before Tom Riddle rose to power, Grindelwald was one of the most feared dark wizards of this era, often regarded as the first true Dark Lord.

A better way to shield thr Killing Curse is to use the avis spell. Conjure some birds and make them block the curse... there will be no stone, object shards to deal with...
