Well, not really. He's borderline paranoid if not outright paranoid. And him basically shoving skadi into scathach was one of the few things he managed to do before passing to prepare that timeline for what is to come. He's actually a really wise leader. Just, a bit too cautious.

That is an interesting idea. But I disagree with a couple of points. 1. Zeus' arcanum is locked. So he can't give him a system. Unless u meant the other zeus in this fic. 2. Skadi isn't a goddess version of scathach. Its Skadi, the bride of the gods, in scathach's body. Just think of her as a pseudo servant in scathach's body. Don't ask me why. Odin did that. Ask him.

Nah it can do more than just that. Katanas are used in a significantly different way than the one handed/two handed knight sword or other Western swords. So its meaningless to compare them like that.

I can say that u have no experience with the sword. I suggest watching people who can properly wield them (although that's really rare). Don't just listen to the western sword fans who go sh*tting on katanas and nodachis just cause they don't like them. Its easy to be influenced by the keyboard warriors but try actually interacting with people who can use them. They will not remain popular if they were so 'weak'. I myself am trained in both arts and I prefer katanas (just personal preference) and for me both are good, but they have things that they specialise in. Neither is better is than the other. It all comes down to preference (and circumstances). And yes, katana can do more than just 'slash'.
