Out of all of the Naruto OP FF ive read, this is probably the best one. I love his struggle during the first hundreds of chapters when we get so see a more gritty Naruto world. By 200-ish chapters you will reach a point where you can decide to continue or drop this novel. An important character at the time gets killed of without much fanfare. Many people will argue that they shouldn't have been killed but I am not one of those people. This was established as a gritty Naruto world, shit happens people die. I do argue however that the character's death was a missed opportunity to further develop MC in a more obvious way character wise. The dillema and fallout of the the character's felt like it could have been such an interesting plot point but it feels like it goes nowhere. Futhermore 700 chapter in, until the recent Chunin Exam final, I had started getting bored when it comes our story developments and main character. He's a Gary Stu character though not in the typical OP from the start with hashirama level abilities. He starts out quite weak physically (though it could be argued that his ability to abuse shadow clones to train without concrete consequences already makes him OP. ) but eventually becomes OP through collecting various jutsu. However, he is also written to have genius level IQ and a vivid memory of Naruto which leads to his OP growth rate and making eventual future encounters feel bland (which is a problem that many OP FF have to deal with tbh) The writer does write interesting plotlines and scenarios but eventually by chapter 400ish, you reach a tipping point of power and kind of lose the feeling of stakes then things just drag-on. Yes, our boy encounters characters who are stronger than him, but there is never a time it feels that he is ever outmaneuvered or outsmarted leading to meaningful losses. It always feels formulaic "MC encounters difficult situation with strong enemies -> Enemies either get rolled immediately/try to do something -> MC reveals he had foreseen this Aizen style and had contingencies or that he was hiding another ability. Don't get me wrong, I think the author made it clear from the start that this was a weak->OP kind of story but I guess ive also hit my limit with the OP FF genre. Overall still a great novel, would recommend everyone to read at least the first 200 chapters and then make a decision to continue or not
Put cultivation and overpowered in the tags and I wouldn't have a problem.Otherwise, pace is fast but the MC isn't really that interesting. Nice explanation with the Hinata background though.Worth a try if your into cultivation type stories.
If I could make a suggestion. If Mieko does end up dying, it would be good opportunity add some more character development to our bro. At the very least to make the time and investment you put into writing Mieko mean something and not go to waste, it would be a good idea to make her death have a noticeable impact on Fujin's character. Maybe he can start questioning his original rational way of thinking due to guilt or subconscious attachment, or maybe he can double down on it to create a facade that you alluded to wherein he becomes detached to emotions because he is convinced that emotions will only end up hurting him.

Fun story so far, pretty readable and focused so far.
Pretty dope story so far. Its a fast paced story in the "I got transmigrated into a small time villain/mob" sub-genre. It's a quick read and I'd recommend it if your not too interested in the details and just want some nice easy fun.
If the world feels like a place where life is cheap and survival is a luxury then sure. Otherwise, I think I'm good. Not everyone wants/can deal with that level of hardship. Responsibility is a drag.

I'm not sure to be totally honest, I'm not a big anime watcher so I only based this of what the wiki said about the nature releases she can use. That explanation makes sense though, maybe that was an anime only thing that they retconned later.
