Nothing groundbreaking with the story but for some weird reason, I am invested in this novel. So this better not get dropped midway or my inner ifrit will go ballistic! j/k Glad that I don't have to go through reading masochistic and abusive scenes that are typical in these genres. "Unfavorables" were dealt with necessarily and so far have not been dragging. This has a lot of potential. Looking forward to relatable main leads albeit the fantastical circumstances.

I'm on chapter 50 and this novel would've been better had it not been for its super short chapters. Three chapters of this are equivalent to one chapter on most novels in this app. Transmigrator lead is sassy and interesting while the mom is bordering tiresome to me. The story has a lot of potential and for now, I've been enjoying the novel. I'm not too fond of having three chapters devoted solely to the female lead trying to cut a stone and reveal some jade. I could still drop this read just for this reason 'coz I'm cheap.

Loving the novel so far. A regressor story with no unconditional savior tropes nor in-game cheats or super powers. (For some reason, it reminds me of the novel Transmigrator meets Reincarnator. Both totally different stories I know... I guess it's the omission on fantastical all-knowing leads which resonated with me). Anyway I digress, after ranting about chapter 62, I'm optimistic that this novel would get better. I wish the filler chapters would be kept at a minimum though. It's a novel, not a script people!*entitled side-eye* As always, I just have to add that I hope this one wouldn't be dropped unceremoniously and would be completed as it should be. As usual, keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes, Hidden Love with Chen Zheyuan, Zhao Luis and Victor Ma. I thought WN was dropping this a few months back when I couldn't open new chapters for a while. I even reached out to customer support. I'm glad it's back.

Don't waste your time with this story. It has been dropped and tagged as complete. It was included in a recommended list to read for the FP daily challenge and I thought it was promising only to find out it was one of those incomplete "completed" stories in this app.

I never left a bad review on any novel or comics that I read. Too dramatic? Not my taste? Skip it or drop it and move on. I'm always mindful that the author puts a lot of effort into their work. I guess this story triggered me to break my goodwill. One of the worst and offensive plots I've ever come across. Don't even think generic terms like slow burn. I'm on chapter 67 hoping for a relief from constant berating and degradation. Ummm... the level of masochism and discrimination is ridiculous... bordering idiotic. None of the characters are likeable nor redeemable. Everyone was written to be trash. It seems that this was written intentionally. If you're into these kinds of stories, go ahead and enjoy the Sh*t-Sh#w. This deserves a more scathing review but I'm having a nice day so I'm gonna stop here.

I love the C-drama series and I'm in the process of reading the novel. I'm not bothered at all with the age-gap but it might just be because of my American sensibilities. The leads' age-gap might be an issue to some people but I never really felt in any way shape or form was there any allusion to grooming. In this web comic, which was beautifully drawn btw as of 03/10/2024, all I see is a blossoming admiration from our young female lead, a believable sibling relationship and a charming unassuming older male lead. I'm not sure if this web comic will stick to canon but I'm excited nonetheless. Please please please let this be completed and not dropped like the other stories I've loved and followed.

It's a great story, worth the read. Be ready for an emotional rollercoaster though. I love that the story is completed.
