That woman definitely has left some psychological scars as well as physical scars. I'm sure his back has healed but whenever confronted with thoughts of that woman his back throbs and he breaks out into a cold sweat. He needs Shouko to help him through this and she has no idea. I'm hoping so strongly that she'll realize he desperately needs her and she steps up to help him and shelter him from his demons of the past.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I hope she grows deeper and deeper in love with him so that it's an anchor and strength to her this time when the storms come from her recovering her memory later on.

He needs a venting room where he beat up boxing bags or tackle dummies and break things if necessary. The woman, his mother or stepmother probably, must have tormented and abused him for him to have this kind of rage and physiological reaction.

Is it his mother? Sounds like she's a cruel and malicious woman.

I am curious what damaged their marriage so badly, even though I have some strong guesses. It's sad, but it is not unusual for a marriage to break down after the death of a young child. It's hard for the husband and wife to climb out of the pit of their heartache, pain and overwhelming emotions and stay emotionally connected. At a time when they need each other the most, they often isolate themselves and sometimes lay blame on the parent driving the car or the parent unable to stop the accident or danger. It's often unreasonable, but the grief process usually includes anger and the wounds dealt to each other are sometimes too damaging.

Uh oh.....I hope I'm wrong, but it seems that whatever caused them to lose their older child, Shouko may have blamed Kyoya and their marriage has been estranged since the winter before this current time. 😢😢 That's why Kyoya sees this as their second chance.

That had to be their little one... I cannot even fathom the depth of pain he's feeling through all this and he's having to mourn by himself, unable to comfort each other. Right now he's the only one with these memories with their child since he decided to protect her from the memories and devastation her grief had apparently produced in their lives.

Yep Zachary has once again proved he's a naive idiot. He is doomed to be controlled by the scheming, manipulative woman whom he has delivered himself into her hands.
