Lol, that's now what I meant. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the harem genre, but there are a lot were the girls just tag along with the Main character. The mc doesn't look at them in an inappropriate way, and just accepts them as they are. So there may be expectations from the girls, or maybe just admiration towards mc, but nothing physically sexual. That's what I meant with my preference. Arifureta is a good example I think, mc didn't oggle them and they had a good relationship with each other as companions.
