As for your question, yes they will eventually find out about her identity, that'll be the "climax" I'd say, I'm still figuring out how to finish the story at the moment. As for her being a nerd and not showing her identity, I'll be honest, there's no solid reasoning behind it! I had this book idea ages ago and I really liked such stories at that time. I would say Ella is not only a character who doesn't want attention but she would also like to find love when she knows for sure that the other person is not just using her for money or fame.
