one of the best fanfictions I've read had one of the coolest wand ideas a girl dies at Sea in a shipwreck she wakes up in the void with this unknowable gargantuan mass of eyes tongues and mouths and she spends so long there just floating with it eventually she starts talking to it eventually the giant thing sends her through a portal she comes through onto an earth a god of reincarnation sees the soul and reincarnates it but she can't erase its memories she looks at the soul and sees it's been blessed by the lonely God Azathoth so the souls reborn with its memories dark creatures love her she falls off of a pier into the ocean because of bullies pushing her elder things actually bring her to the beach where no one's looking at the orphanage sometimes randomly eyes start glowing in the dark tentacles bring her things out of the dark eventually she gets her Hogwarts letter she goes to ollivander she tries everyone he has none of them will work so he goes and gets this little chest that's got chains and seals on it and says that he has no idea what this wand is made of and if it doesn't work he'll have to make a custom wand that it was brought into the shop by his ancient ancestor who started the tradition of making wands they open the chest and there's writing on the inside and language no one can read but she can because of her blessing and when she reads it out loud it's like black speak it makes everyone's ears kind of hurt but she thinks it sounds beautiful it's an elder speak it says this wand is 13 inches long made from driftwood from the center of the sea from the tree of shrub niàgaraoff the core is a crystalline drop of blood of the wands creator high priest of the great old ones Cthulhu and the moment she picks up the wand a total solar eclipse suddenly happens her eyes change her irises turn permanently bright gold with her pupil purple all across the world dark creatures celebrate Cthulhu wakes up feels the tug of the blessing of Azathoth and his own wand so he decides to give her a blessing he makes her his apostle and gives her a minor access to his divinity of dreams and nightmares as the dead god of dreams he goes back to sleep and when she leaves the shop everybody still wondering where the eclipse came from ollivander is looking at her and he says it appears that I sold something to another dark lord... at least I got that chest out of my shop

though to most cultures eating bugs is disgusting the reality is bugs are high in protein they won't get you everything you need for your diet but they are a very valid food source there's a movie I forget its name but the poor people all eat this black brick food ration they all eat it eventually the main character in his group get to the place where it's made they see these black bricks coming out they open up the vet to find out what it's made of inside of a vat is millions of cockroaches being crushed.... humanity survived on cockroach farming .... as disgusting as it sounds if we were to farm cockroaches today according to the University of Oxford we could end world hunger by doing this exact scenario and making ration bars out of cockroach farming putting in the needed vitamins and minerals into the bar and according to Oxford it could be farmed made and produced dirt cheap and given to everybody either for free or for little to no money world hunger salt easy if you're willing to eat it
