Yeah, it is kind of, but I figured it was the best way to set up the demon world war. That is coming pretty soon as well. They'll need to be able to stand up to the bad guys and Dante needs a sure source of Vibranium.

Antarctica is apparently very dry despite all of the ice. I googled it. It has something to do with the lack of precipitation and way it works over there.

Adamantium is made from Vibranium and other very specific metals. Getting the rest is practically child's play. Vibranium is the real sauce.

The way I created the characters are kinda linear. I wanted the strength to be relative to the speed. Dante at the current chapter has a stat of about 200 in all stats, and Rin has about 100. That translates to about 10x the stats of an average human for Rin and 20x for Dante. Point is they might not be conventionally strong, but their speed, flexibility, and just about everything else makes them more rounded. I mean Dante can probably reach Mach five with his new upgrades now, and that's nothing to sneeze at. Plus he has boosts, a Devil Trigger, and a bunch of other enhancements. Sure his raw strength his lack luster, but he's by no means weak.
