The problem I had with the bloodline came from people being made loyal after drinking it. In the beginning, it was said his bloodline would be loyal to him, and I could get behind that, which was made to sound lik his future children, but suddenly, he had people loyal to him that had drunk his blood. There was no explanation, no chapter on how this happened. It just showed up in a chapter with no explanation, no experimenting, and them acting like it was completely normal.
