The cover and title are definitely designating him as the ML. I think you've been duped 😅😅😅
I think the totals in requirements 1 and 2 are inverted. 100 instead of 50 and 50 instead of 100
This one!
Oh fuck! Are they gonna be "The Chipmunks" ?
We are approaching the 150 chapters mark, and therefore, it is time to review. This novel's strongest point is that it keeps the reader invested and wanting more. And that sort of thing only happens when the characters are well fleshed out, enough for the reader to get to know them. The reason why the characters are great is because the author takes the time to write - and balance - both dialogues and monologues, simultaneously developing both the characters themselves as well as the relationships between them. - The MC himself is a breath of fresh air. Snarky, has expensive tastes and a high pride, but also very self-aware and observant. It makes the few moments when he's unguarded or vulnerable much more special. - The world building has a great potential. I like the concept of each area having its own culture, history, and interests and being under its own monarch. It gives a good foundation for any political plays in the future. Add to that the mystery and apparent horror element of the spirit world and you get one very interesting world. - For the technical aspects, the writing style is beautiful and flowy, the grammar is solid, the updating frequency is one chapter a day with occasional skips here and there which is slow, but consistent at least but I get that authors have lives and the act of writing, itself, needs strong discipline. I prefer slow quality chapters than fast filler ones.
I'm not an author, but it's so nice to see people actually take their time to review novels. It not only helps authors but readers too, so thank you. Also, just my opinion, but I think the reason people are set on Juli as fml is because the enemies-to-lovers trope is a widely beloved one and has a nice emotional depth when done right but I do agree with you that Juliana's character has barely appeared up until now. In any case, any romance the mc ends up having will need to be slow paced because, as much as he appears to be carefree, we all know that he actually isn't.
Lots of Kingdom building novels with a Male mc are harem, so it's a blessing that, for once, this one isn't. Thank you author, for choosing a strong, successful mc who doesn't turn into a horndog.
Thank you for the chapter
