Part of a Different World

The kingdom is split into two, people with magic and those without. Regardless of social status, someone can be born with magic. However, historically, those with magic pass their powers onto their children. Hundreds of years ago, the families with magical powers became the top 1% of society, with the most powerful being the Royal Family, as such a hierarchy was formed. However, commoners still presented with powerful magic every few years, as such they must attend the Royal Academy of Magic alongside these rich nobles. Amongst the rich, the young successor of the Windeburg Duchy, Augustus, presented with the highest aptitude of magic in every test, beating even the Prince and Princess. While he continues to have a target on his back, he finds himself being drawn to the posse of commoners who were always 5th or 6th in every test. Isla Ronin was someone who wanted to stay away from all the drama. However, her powers would not allow the limelight to stray from her. She has a responsibility to bridge the gap between those with and without magic. However, for now, she simply wants to stay under the radar. From her first day at the academy, Augustus became a part of her life. But as they grow older, will his interest in her life cause her trouble or bring her joy?

A villain is sometimes a misunderstood character, Ruth had convinced herself that she was the villainess. Many people agreed with her conclusion as she had hurt them, however the real villain was perhaps less expected. While all of it was true, she had no regrets of how she treated the people around her, she was honest and she made no apologies for it. She had one regret, letting go of the man she loved because he chose another. When she ran into him again, five years after he turned her into a villainess, she realised that she wouldn't let him go again. She was going to torture him for the rest of his life. "Why won't you let me go? I made everyone hate you!" He sighed, exasperated. "Only one person knows I wasn't wrong, only one person knows me. That poor, unfortunate person is you. You can try to get rid of me but I won't let go this time!" She smirked and he groaned. She turned away from him, ready to walk into her car when he grabbed her neck, pulled her around and took her lips. "If that's the case, I'll make it easy for you. I'll hold on harder than you can handle." He beamed when he saw the shock on her face and kissed her lips again. This was going to be fun.

A blush rose to her cheeks as his lips touched her neck and his hand dipped lower than it should have. "I value your sanity," his husky voice whispered in her ears, making her hyperaware of the nerves on them, "but I think I need you, so let me take you." Her knees weakened with his breath, letting her lean into his chest as his hands whisked her away and his mouth left heat on her skin.

Who even are you?" She teased as she pulled his tie. "Your husband!" He smirked and kissed her. However, this story isn't a soppy love story, though, that would've been nice. Yue Chen was in fact her Mr Moon (spoiler alert) however not *her* Mr Moon, he was another man who had been reincarnated into Yue Chen's body. He has a job, a job to save the world. 300 years in the future, everyone learned about the blank spot in History, the spot where Yue Chen saved the world. All he knew was that the lady who was talking to Mr Moon was the missing piece to that puzzle, he had to figure out her purpose before it was too late, and the world ended. .
