Yea. Powerlessness verse it possibly happening are a bit different. You could almost snap your next from a fall or almost get hit by a car. Even if death is on the table, it isn’t as scary. But when someone/thing is slowly enforcing it? Then hell yea. Sure, some might be more inclined towards rage depending on the personality. Etc. But not exactly weak-willed for fearing death in this situation. As fearing death means you have something worth living for. And not everyone has the capacity to save themselves from it, temporarily ofc.
Wow… that far?
The temptation to delete this cause the paragraph spacing is messed up…
In the case of this I slightly disagree. Mostly right based on my understanding however. To go a little in depth, muscle memory is determined by the brain. Basically as one developes pathways are created to make certain actions based on received input more quickly. In this case, the abstract thing known as consciousness and how that works here is where the confusion most likely stems from (for me at least). This is thought to reside in the cerebral cortex, (top most layer). For those uneducated on how the brain works, (I myself only took antaomy which isn’t its main focus), the brain is cut into multiple lobes and overall is just a very complex part of the human body. And throw souls into that? Something some say are real and others not? Long story short. The brain in which would make that muscle memory possible isn’t there. But memories which supposedly reside within it are. Which is where the disconnect come from for me here. In this case I think the author does have basis given it’s their story and they can decide how the soul aspect works here (given that has to be where the memories come from, as new brain and all). However I am sure someone more specialized in how the brain works might disagree. This just my thoughts on the matter. However I still in the end disagree with the author here as humans are very adaptive. With this younglings brain, and so long to adapt. He should be able to remove the disconnect. However, I have never been reincarnated so tf I know (mental illnesses also exist and I am uneducated on them)? Plus I am also young, so I have no actual experience. That my little tidbit. After reading all of yours at least 😅
This comment is gold…
Reminds me of a silly mistake I made for an npc in my dnd campaign. Named them Ben. They asked for a last name randomly and given it was an alias name, I said the first name that came to mind. Dover. Ruined that man… 🫠
Aye I was wondering if this guy would be brought up again.
I can’t wait till I catch up and see whether you have made him regret having you as his author or not. 😅
I’ve been thinking this since chapter 1…
The grind to catch up has begun! Can’t wait 🥳
This brings me so much joy. I don’t know why…
This is very high praise. I look forward to being impressed.
