In chapter 3, it said that he's "holding" to such concepts to cope from his despair and depression when Philip was a child Because of the despair he's been experiencing, he doesn't believe in God anymore, so he created concepts of god through Time, Space, Gravity, Life, Death, etc, so that he has something to hold on to, like a godly figure He only has the power to control fate, freely manipulate his emotions, deny pain, and see future possibilities The concepts written above is also foreshadowing

For future readers, don't worry... Chapter 2 is supposed to be confusing because it's in a realm that we're not supposed to comprehend... YET If you're pulled out of our universe and entered the multiverse, would you be able to understand anything since the rules has already changed?

He can't get angry at them for almost killing him since he wanted to die... At most, he should have been angry as to why he didn't die He's more masterful in manipulating his negative emotions than positive emotions, except when the negative emotions become unstable

There is a difference from denying pain and being numb The mc could still feel pain and he can deny it as long as his mental power can do so. Also, depending on the amount of pain that he can feel, that's how powerful he can return that pain towards the surroundings or others, but that still depends if his mental can stay stable because pain tends to halt your thinking process Another thing is that inflicting pain can be the same as damaging the body. The mc won't be able to cancel the pain because that's a completely different power; Pain Nullification, Pain Immunity, or Regeneration So, even if he could deny the pain, damage would still stack on his body, which could lead to malfunction of his movements Spoiler alert: This ability will be changed later because the meaning is not as it is, as you can see.
