I'm blunt but please don't take it personally when I give negative reviews and constructive criticism. There are way too many inexperienced youth being sold toxic behaviors as acts of pure romance.

I sure hope she never ever goes back to Lincoln. An abusive, cheating man like that doesn't deserve a redemption arc getting back the wife he abused, cheated on, and neglected.
Holy sh*t, this was a heart stopping, gripping chapter! Finally Cain is taking more care in assessing situations before assuming it's all Avery's fault somehow. Although having Gerard act like he has any authority to punish servants definitely didn't help Gerard. Like that last thing anyone should want to do is act like you're the Alpha in another Alpha's pack. Was it Gerard who pushed Avery to set her up for that fall, or was it Kendra being Kendra, always taking every opportunity to bully Avery by pushing her in front of guests? Can't wait to see what happens next!
Expansion and conquest. He just loves making more and more enemies and destabilizing more packs into depending on his.
I just realized that Callum might be the actual traitor who worked with Cain's enemies. It would explain his failed attempts to find the seller and his stubbornness to ever give Xander the benefit of the doubt.
Pfft! Even?! Sure, a broken spine for a bruised ego. Totally even.
If only that was the only thing you were going to do. But apparently your idea of dinner and a movie, or Netflix and chill, is to f*ck and kill. 😭
Heck, I'm not even certain if any other cringe mate bond tropes are necessarily part of the lore in this universe. Despite the extreme attraction between Eryx and Idalia, it seems to be relegated far more to Eryx's natural alpha attraction than anything else. I personally thought there was a fated bond between the two, but there's been no real acknowledgement of commitment between the two so it doesn't even feel like they see each other as mates. Maybe the marking Eryx did on her isn't the type of marking that would be considered the real mate deal. It could just be the werewolf equivalent of a hickey that takes too long to go away.
Hopefully the sadistic mate bond trope that punishes the cheater's victim with pain isn't part of the lore in this universe.
This is what you would find under the category "popular with women" at a certain website.
That Alpha meathead beast had enough free bites from her. If she wants diversity, let her have it. She doesn't owe that self-entitled and overly controlling Alpha brute anything. He's constantly complaining about her "seducing" him anyway, so he doesn't even have the right to complain of her taking care of her own needs without him. Let the girl be messy before she's tied down to an Alpha butt crack like every other werewolf FL does. Even in real life, so many women end up regretting playing along with society's expectations of female purity before marriage when they are still young. Some of y'all will be regretting in your 30s and 40s after getting a divorce of holding yourselves back when you were younger. Of not having had more varied experiences before settling down. It's nice to see a story where the FL is given that freedom. I really hope the author doesn't later punish her for "acting like a ho".
