Really good translation, hardly reads as a chinese fanfic, the story is going in a very different direction that the original which I do like! I'm around chapter 70 and the thing I think the author was reffering to was how battle centric the fanfic has been, battle to battle with very little space for character interactions, though that seems to be changing too with us getting more into the though processes of the characters. So far this has been a very power fantasy read where you don't have to put too much thought into reading and understanding. characters. Small spoiler ahead, read at your own discression. Minor gripe which the fantastic translator shared was how hakai seems to be working or atleast shown + how Buu and Janemba were defeated. I really like how Krillin has been apart of the story and how he's had his own character development, hope he becomes stronger, through ui or some other cool way.

Yeah no worries, I'm somewhere just before namek around chapter 60 something, clearly the story is going in a more serious direction with the occasional joke or three. Loved the part where ____ questioned Ajax about his plans, knowledge and morals.

I love abridged Popo, but him being in this novel just diffused most of the tension the author built up with the slight au changes so far, and what they could mean for the mc going forwards. From Serious novel -> Comedy novel thats occasionally serious. So unfortunate...

This has been a great binge so far, awesome story
