I finished this book last week and he is one of my top favorite male leads - super gentle with lots of patience. It has a good setup but not much drama - pretty calm that I kinda skimmed over the sweet towards the end. Take it as slice of life kinda novel with super sweet couple.

Don’t remember exactly maybe in the middle of the book.

Interesting summary but author has to many “forced” scenarios and weak and inconsistent FL character development. The Fl seemed supposed to be a strong assassin in a weaker body but the number of times she has lost balanced and rescued by the ML had my eyes rolling. Story telling and dialogues were rather weaker so started scanning the on chapter 3 and skip a couple of chapters and will drop novel. Wasting 15 minutes is all I can spare.

Love ❤️ this book- can you give us the raw title since u r not going to translated it. You can keep the coins I spent but please give us the title. It’s frustrating knowing that you start to enjoy the book and then it gets dropped. This goes for Sweet physian’s wife. Readers if you know the title, please share. Thanks Happy 2022 everyone!

This is one of the more enjoyable 1320 chapter novels out there with a very strong, unique FL and not a perfect ML that I ❤️. Their story is very unique with lot of ML/FL character developments I also like how the author reveals the numerous vests that she and the ML both have in a unique situations. Story telling and flow is great that I”m actually reading and scanning. She has also interesting main and side characters that I actually care about and want to find out more about their stories. The plot and mystery is engaging and multiple arcs that keeps me entertained. There are some characters with unfinished stories but the story is still fine. I will definitely pick up this author’s other stories. Enjoy the book 📕 致命偏宠.

Totally agree with you Wallflower_Monk! Besides that, it also Another bullet point bad cliche story that with no narrative and context - all 1D characters thrown into the same situation.

This was one of the best novels in last month's Trial Read and us readers were ecstatic that it was picked. After it was picked, we had to wait for 1 whole month for new chapters then to be placed "Privileged Stockpile" and if we want to read it, we have to pay extra for it. Really Translators?! Is this how you are going treat us readers?

Another bullet point novel with English names. I read the first 3 chapters in a minute. This is getting too common in Webnovel. Like others mentioned trial reads on Friday used to be fun.

True- I'm not judging those who like to read those books but I still choose to state my disappointment and frustration with Webnovel's book selection. 😌

I guess the theme for this week’s pilot reads is abusive, toxic relationships which is being “sold” as normal, acceptable and healthy. I don’t know why I bother looking through pilot reads anymore. it’s no longer fun reading translated novels - the novel selection is so poor nowadays. I know my review will be deleted in a week and my account might be locked but I had to write out my disappointment and frustration with webnovel. Time to find another reading source.
