I really like that, everything you wrote has their reason and is tied to something. Great stuff. It will be great, if mc can unearth someone to fight beside him and become his best buddy. Who is not by the way in the book "hero has returned". To show some wasted talent the earth has and how far can they go.With the right friend beside can make a monster. A story line connected to the main plot, but outside the academy and its students, will probably give us a new and fresh perspective of the outside world with new dynamic characters. it's just a suggestion. I am liking this so far.
