Sure. He makes an AI robot army and takes over atlas to fight Salem. None of his family likes him for it and the only family he has is his AI robot daughters. After he defeats Salem he retires but dies relatively young because of health issues. He didn't become a hunter mind you. In the epilogue, a lot of years after, possibly centuries because humanity is a space fairing civilization, the gods come back and his AI daughters kill them using blackholes or something. They meet up with him again, but i think its implied they meet him in the afterlife or something. Or they bring him back to life. Still not sure on that.

They could assassinate them the next day, or the day after. I doubt a couple of days will make a difference for the MC unlocking powers when he's been trying for years. And its not like his parents aren't going to go out, they do run one of the biggest companies you know.
