when your desperate enough you'll do anything even atheists pray if the thing they are suffering through is that big a deal i.e war is a good example of people either believing in god or stop believing, it comes down to the person

it's also the males job to patrol the territory in which he rules chase off scavengers and trespassers and last time I checked the lion could claim as much as 10 square miles of territory he would have to constantly patrol. of course he wouldn't hunt he's to busy defending the territory. as to the bullying, mating is reason they bully the male they are in heat and the male can't breed every female for like 18 hours straight I don't think anyone could.

No I mean the literal species of cattle look up cattle species they may not be as numerous as something like dog species but they are a bunch of different cattle species.

lions are actually one of the few who don't follow that rule male lions are pure muscle and the females are much weaker than the male counterpart its why there are like 20 females to a single male in the pride. the male is king and should he lose his title he will be outcast as a younger and stronger male takes over.
