Most cars would be fine in the event of an emp. Most would at worst stall and require a restart. Such a groaner. Instead, why not claim it's a result of supernatural energies instead. SMH.
Yeah it's ridiculous. Taking back the company house makes sense, and assuming they really can erase only the memories of the cultivation technique without harming them, that seems fair too, but in what world do they take back money that's already been paid? Author is a bit of an idiot.
To me at least, death/terminal seclusion very specifically refers to cultivators who are dying and their only survival path is a breakthrough. I find this use of the term to be poor.
inconvenience is the correct word. unconveniency isn't a word. although I immediately knew what you meant, so I guess it's legit from that perspective. :)
In honor of Yamcha, gaaaaaaay.
Gadget is such a generic word. You shouldn't rename things just to rename them. just call it a smartphone!
Yes, Mother.
The premise and plot are interesting, but the MC just comes off as an idiot to me. I hate heroes who show too much caution, but too little is just as bad. At one point early on, he runs into difficulties because his magic is noticibaly different from other people, but after dealing with it, he immediately continues the behavior that attracted trouble. Also I have a strong preference for confident heroes, and he is written convincingly as shy, kinda dumb guy. It feels realistic but I didn't come here for realism.
I really don't understand the need for a weird name. if it shoots spikes of ice, just call it ice spikes.
The humans might have their legionnaires, but soon the colony will have their legiANTaires! FOR THE COLONY!
