It's not like I haven't thought about it, but then I realised a few things. Without systematic study of lightning quirks, it should be pretty damn difficult to control because it's lightning is volatile and dangerous. If you ignore Midoriya, everyone in class A had a decent level of control over their own quirks but even then all kaminari could do was control how much electricity he could release at a time. I am assuming the learning curve of lightning quirks should be pretty steep and just reaching that threshold is probably the biggest roadblock for all lightning quirks users.

Since it's Pokemon why not just call it aura pathways/channels

Focusing on one thing will make them better. As for not being real heroes and working for money. I really don't see the harm in that. Just fake it till you really make it

I won't say much. I'll only say one thing. Superman vs Batman is something that explains very real situation of what would happen if a vigilante/hero with super powers doesn't train himself for damage control. Financial/Material/Life losses would be off the charts. As for not accepting remuneration. If they don't go to hero school and focus on college then until and unless a person is a genuis, he will be mediocre as both hero and a professional
