Story’s pretty decent but that world building is so… “plotholly” everything seems pointless because of luck. Like no consequences no suspense nothing. Wild monsters are completely fodder, while the tamed ones are bland no pushing the envelope, no skill hunting, optimization just luck. Luck on skill pick ups and luck with materials that pop up. Lastly why have royalty if there are gods. Cause if the king said one thing and the gods said naw then is he cooked, does he do it any way and starts a war.
