It has a somewhat steady begining but in the end the MC's actions are all reaction based, not out of his own choices, everyone around him seems to have a plan for him and he just follows along like a puppet, hell, even the "loyal" Ultimatrix ends up dismissing him, he gets "loyal" followers who won't listen to him, and one of the most annoying aspects is the mental link with his girlfriend Emma Frost, his thoughts are no longer his own either, this is infuriating to read, this really hurt my brain to read. That's unforgivable.
