author error in typing. he had been born in such a "state" (is the correct wording. you didn't write "state", you wrote "aste"

At the same time, the dragonbones that he had absorbed fused with his bones as well, as if they had always been one in the same. The process was beyond shocking, and also beyond painful.

After a brief struggle, the dragon's blood seemed to give up on merging with his own, and instead flowed freely within his veins next to his original blood.
