None of this makes sense..the pointless reveal the mercenary revealing who he was and why he was sent. The classic villain dialogue about how the hero had been duped. The plot armour present to protect Elijah and his unwillingness to negotiate. It doesn’t matter if he attacked a safe if he has the power to break in and out. The most logical option would be to negotiate when the merc had offered to come to an agreement. Somehow no guards also followed him only to turn up again when he’a critically injuries. Also didn’t he have a personal bodyguard. So many plot holes and just a bad chap in general. Serra is literally acting like an anime girl and kinda takes away from the realism otherwise not to bad! P.S not just Serra Blaise too with the whole yes senior to Damien...no English person acts like that and no English girl acts like Serra most definitely.

I like yours better coz system novels nowadays just feel like cheats and so it’s hard to show how hard work or talent got them there when they have a literal cheating system to assist them
