This is pretty close to what I've been waiting for this entire story. And this is the only author to ever deliver on 'Canon Reacts to Fanfiction' concurrently with the actual fanfiction plot. WITH the caveat that it's worth reacting to, and this story is beyond 100% worth reacting to, that is to say, I am expecting more than what I can imagine.

Whenever there's an incongruity I have to remind myself the author is describing China, not America. Or in this case, he's painting a picture of rural China.

I really like this because we as the reader are keenly aware of the difference Shiller has made on big names like Dr. Freeze, The Penguin, and even the Joker.
