Surprisingly good. Contrary to the usual walk in the park, well- worn path that most fics take of going through Hogwarts , this novel flips the setting on its head, making it seem grimdark and depressing, while putting your favourite characters in it. Rather than make it depressing, this grimdark nature makes the novel more tense, as there seems to be real struggle and challenge, while the author also knows when to control himself and lets the protagonist gradually turn the situation around. Beyond that , characters are developed, action intense, and storyline logic al
Surprisingly decent for this sort of genre . The characters aren’t op, behave in generally logical manners, and have actually distinct personalities.
Surprisingly, this novel actually seems to have potential. Translation is solid, the storyline is recognisable but with a fresh take, and characters all have their own unique niches and development.
A surprisingly solid novel that takes inspiration from the game Stellaris. If you’ve played Stellaris, long story short is that you isekai into the machine intelligence of a fallen empire, and now are navigating the universe as a fallen empire, dealing with threats such as the Grey Tempest etc
I like the attitude of the translator, and this seems like a good effort. Still, there are definitely some language errors that could be improved, and the nuance in writing doesn’ seem to be fully carried over
One of the best trial novels this week. Character development is funny, the system has humour, and the plot has definitely engaged me. My favourite part is how it shows how his effect on the past changed the future
Seems like the best out of this rounds trial reads. Characters are pretty humorous, plot seems engaging and logical.
An actually decent novel for once. No glaring language issues, and the plot is interesting with some mystery. Only issue is that the MC acclimated to the new world too quickly.
