Small idea for the future trading - he could propose to the whole race/kingdom/organization to sign a contract with all their members - in their death, everything they had would belong to him, or just their talent orbs. In return, he is obliged to return 1, 2 or 3 orbs of the highest quality back to the organisation and can keep the rest. This way he will get a lot of talent orbs, although of lower quality, and orgs in case of death of their talents would be able to nurture new ones fast using these high quality orbs.
