Marcy and Raven don't feel related at all if you didn't have Raven call her nana you wouldn't even know.

Wasn't Marcy Raven's grandma why is she calling her by name?

Don't misunderstand I like both novels but the story's move at a snail's pace and it feels like you get lost for long periods.
