The story is going really well so far my only question is if this is a slight AU cos if I remember correctly Hiruzen forbid early graduation entirely after the uchiha massacre as he blamed early graduation for the downfall of konohas genius’s.

Probably from a subconscious need to have the plot going the way it should which also includes penny ending with Leonard. The only things that he’a changed are the things about himself which overrall doesn’t affect the plot all too much apart from the fact he may not end up with Amy

I can’t be too sure but I believe the explanation for the mind shield was more for mental intrusion to his psyche and even if not it’s not impossible for him to have gained control over his mind shield to allow telepathic communication

The chapter was done good, the analysis portion could have maybe had more back and forth conversation for character building of characters but other than that really small detail the chapter was brilliant.

I’d say to be brief with others characters fights other than the MC and possibly kirishima since his training with the MC could have an effect on the result of the fights if you are just using the same bracket as canon

Yeah it’s kinda become its own trope within xmen fanfics akin to truck-kun for the isekai genre
